✅ July updates to Confirmed

Confirmed Updates

While you might not have heard from us for a while, that doesn’t mean that we haven’t been working hard to make Confirmed as good as it can be!

Book in an account audit

In the last few weeks we’ve had some very successful account audits with existing Confirmed customers. We’ve looked at how they’re using the software, made suggestion on how they can improve their workflows, and taken on their feedback.

If you’d like to meet with one of the team to find out how we can help your comedy club be more successful, and help you run your operations with significantly less stress then please book a 1-1 meeting.

Book Free 1-1

If you don’t have a Confirmed account, but are interested in finding out how we can help you run your comedy club, please feel free to book a meeting—we’d be very happy to hear from you!

Agent mode

Agent mode is finally here! 🥳 You can now apply for spots on behalf of somebody else, and then manage their profile and see their schedule.

Early feedback from agents is that they absolutely love the feature, and clubs have noticed an uptick in higher quality submissions because of the ease with which agents can communicate their acts’ availability.

Here's how it works:

  1. In the surveys we've added a brief call-out to agents (currently - "if you're an agent, click here!") that gives them instructions to how they can apply their acts to spots.

  2. by following the instructions, agents then can go and create their act profiles and start applying for spots.,

  3. by default, all communication about these agent acts will go to agent, but we are encouraging them to "link" accounts so that an act can manage their profile by themselves as well as receive emails when spots are confirmed,

  4. on production side the distinction of whether act applied themselves or it was their agent is only surfaced when you extend offers. In the offers screen, agent icon will be overlaid on top of the act icon, and when you hover over it, it will give you details as to who is representing the act.,

The above describes how things work from the agent/act perspective. However, there is one more way to work with agents:

  • If you are working with big fish that can't be bothered creating profiles and whatnot, you can create agent profile in your acts&contacts, and then, in the act profile, you can specify which agent this act is managed by. The only important thing here is that the agent profile has the email address that the agent is actually using.,

  • In surveys, after agent has logged in with their email, they'll be able to choose which act they want to apply with. Also, if you send an offer, that will go to the agent.

You now can change mc-breaks on show level

The length of MC breaks between acts has been sitting in the general show type settings and was shared among all the shows of the same type. Now you can tweak individual shows as necessary.

Click on any of the show rows -> then click on MC spot length dropdown, and adjust it from there (edited)

New, streamlined look for "New Show"

We've brought the "New show" popup to match the rest of the interface and made it mobile friendly.

Quick copy callsheet

If you prefer to send your call sheets using plain text, then all the information you might need is now easy to copy and paste!

Customize columns when exporting callsheet

The callsheet download now allows customizing the columns. Chosen selection will be remembered in the browser, so next time you go exporting, you'll get the same columns selected. This allows quickly creating exports fit for sending to marketing people and so on.

Drag and drop to change the order of spots as well as acts

Now you can move around the whole spot - say if you would like to swap around closers, but keep their set lengths.

Which drag mode is the right one will depend on your situation, but hopefully should be obvious when the need arises.

This feature also works for breaks!

Improvements to show notes

We've applied some love to show notes (very much WIP). Now, it is not one big blob anymore, but rather you can add events as they happen. Plus you can tag acts and staff.

The information is not yet being surfaced anywhere but the show pages, but the plan is to give you ability to see all notes for a specific person, as well as surface them in the act picker when you are figuring out your lineup. Like, highlighting people who have received lots of praise notes; equally highlighting anyone who has been problematic in the past.

Hopefully you love these new features—let us know how you get on with them by replying to this email!
