The Fringe is a great place for us to test the limits of the software that we have built. Some highlights include:
Increasing limits of lighting control in Showtime
Showtime is the lighting control software that some comedy clubs use to also control their DMX lighting rig. We took over the lighting rig in the Big Caves venue in Edinburgh, which involved dozens of moving head fixtures, LED fixtures, and our own pop-up lighting and atmospheric effects. We were able to control the entire lighting rig from a single Chromebook, improvising lighting effects for the acts using a MIDI control pad.
Selling 7,500+ tickets to 5 Headliners for £10
Our flagship stand-up lineup show 5 Headliners for £10 sold out its run, so added extra performances to meet demand. For three Saturdays during the festival, we managed the cast of acts using Confirmed, and competed our financial settlements to the entire cast within 48 hours. Using Confirmed’s financial reconciliation tool (available on Pro and Unlimited) we sent the acts a breakdown of all the spots they did for us, how much that earned them, and sent bulk payment requests to our bank using a file that Confirmed generated for us. Production checklists
If you have a series of tasks that need to happen before a show, and you want to make sure that you and your team have completed them, why not try a production checklist?
Show running now better on mobile
If you use Showtime to control your sound, lights, or VFX in your venue, then it’s now much easier to use our software on your mobile phone. You can even plug in your phone to control all of the show’s pre-show, walk-on, and exit music if you so desire.
Pending offers have their own home
A common feature request was a list of comedians who you have offered a spot to, but who haven’t responded yet. In addition to the ‘Pending Offers’ tab, that shows you the acts you are planning to send an offer to, we also have an ‘Unanswered Offers’ tab that presents a handy list of acts who you may like to send a nudge or reminder to.
Add files to shows!
If you’d like to store things like PDF call sheets, social graphics, or any other data that you’d like to have everybody on your team to have access to, you can navigate to the ‘Files’ tab. This is useful if there is, for example, an act who needs a powerpoint presentation or particular MP3 file played - this is a handy place to store it, because it’s linked to the show that they are performed on.

We have extended our free trial period to one month, which is more than long enough to work out whether Confirmed really is for you.
